To purchase a burning permit, you must go to epay.cityhallsystems.com/selection.
On the left side panel, under “Select Bill Type,” select the “Fire Department” tab. Select “Buy Burning Permit.”
You will then need to select your street name and number from the drop down menus. You will need to enter your name, phone number, and email address. At the bottom of the page, you need to click that you have read the rules and regulations, then click “Add to Cart.” After reviewing your cart, click on “Proceed to Checkout.” You will then need to enter and confirm your payment info. You may then print your receipt.
To activate your burning permit, go to epay.cityhallsystems.com/selection.
At the City Hall Systems website, under the Fire Department tab, select “Activate Burning Permit.” You will need to enter the address and the last name on the burn permit. You will then need to enter contact information for that day, then click “Activate Permit.” This will inform the fire department that you plan to burn today. This must be done between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and noon. If you are informed that burning is not allowed that day, there are no exceptions.
