NEWBURY — Chief Douglas Janvrin is pleased to announce that the Newbury Fire Department is participating in the Toys for Tots program over the next month.
From now until Dec. 7, the Newbury Fire Department will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children ages infant to 16.
Drop-off boxes will be set up in the lobby of the Newbury Station, 3 Morgan Ave., and the Byfield Station, 44 Central St. and will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. everyday.
“As residents begin thinking about the holidays, we ask that they consider making a donation to the Toys for Tots program,” Chief Janvrin said. “Any gift, no matter how small, can help a child have a happy holiday this season.”
